After the successful operations in rescuing Jaycee Lee Dugard (photos above), a Press Conference was held by the California police. Kidnapped girl victim Jaycee Lee Dugard found 18 years later by the police in a place they called hidden back yard wherein Phillip Garrido abducted her as one of his children. In the Press Conference, Jaycee parents Terry Probyn (mother) and Carl Probyn (step-father) said:

“I had personally given up hope, I had just hoped for a recovery and to find the people responsible. I’ve actually won the lotto.”

“My girl has no proper schooling and I don’t even know what shape she is in. I don’t know if she was treated like an animal. This is so horrific, I don’t believe it.”
